RITA began in April 07 with a few like-minded independent business owners getting together and discussing how we could work together to promote Ripon as a destination as a unique independent shopping and leisure destintation. From 5 founder members there are now in excess of 30 independents working on joint marketing initiatives to raise the profile of Ripon.
RITA also believes passionately in social enterprise and has been proud to support The Walled Garden Project, Jennyruth Workshops and the Civic Society.
The next RITA event will be All Hallows Eve on the 31st October from 4pm until 9pm, which promises to be a great evening for the whole family with food, drink and entertainment all provided.
Following on from Halloween there will be a comprehensive calendar of events and promotions for the festive season under the headline of “12 Days Of Christmas”.

We are pleased to endorse and support the newly established BNI networking group that is just launching in Ripon. They meet every Tuesday morning at Ripon racecourse. The meetings are hosted by Livius Events who have recently started using the racecourse facilities for events and conferencing.
